Instagram is now being used by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta to test their generative AI chatbot, known as “Meta AI.” Meta AI will be able to create poetry, create graphics, and respond to other queries with just a single text command, just like other chatbots available on the market. Remarkably, Meta has begun testing its AI chatbot for specific consumers in India and other nations as of late.

The TechCrunch story was the first to notice the feature, claiming that Meta was testing its AI chatbot in the primary search bar. However, other sources indicate that the chatbot was visible in the Instagram direct message search bar. As per the Engadget article, by selecting the Meta AI symbol, users were able to initiate a discussion with the chatbot straight from their direct message, akin to messaging a friend.
