Nothing To Produce Smartphones In India, Seek To Establish The Nation As An Export Center

The manufacturer of smartphones, Nothing, stated on Saturday, March 2, that its long-term goal is to establish India as its export center. The business announced that it will be producing its newest line of handsets, the Nothing Phone (2a), in India, while outlining its goals. The announcement was made a few weeks after Nothing creator Carl Pei stated that the new smartphone will be made in India in a post on X. On March 5, there will be a launch ceremony in Delhi for the new phone.

Nothing stated in a statement today that it has introduced its most recent technology and creative design to India with the Phone (2a). Nothing’s distinctive transparent design demands that the highest international quality requirements be met. Nothing that intends to establish India as an export hub in the long run has introduced these procedures to the country.

Additionally, the business announced that a Dimensity 7,200 Pro CPU, co-engineered in collaboration with MediaTek, will be included in the Nothing Phone (2a). According to some media rumors, the new phone may include a 32-megapixel front camera and a 6.7-inch touchscreen, and its pricing may be around INR 30,000.

Nothing, a London-based startup founded by the former cofounder of OnePlus, is a smartphone manufacturer that takes on major global players like Apple, Samsung, and OnePlus. It made its debut in India in 2021, and because to alliances with e-commerce platforms, it has since expanded throughout the nation.
