Family health tracking with Galaxy Watches may soon be possible (APK breakdown)

Data from your child's Galaxy Watch may be added to the Samsung Health app, and data sharing may make it simple for you to keep an eye on it. The family data-sharing tool includes several built-in security and privacy safeguards. Everyone in the family will have the freedom to alter or cease sharing at any time, as well as what and how much they share. They'll be able to see a preview of what you intend to present ahead of time. Guardian approval will be needed in order to see a child's medical records. Additionally, shared material is immediately removed, and sharing is terminated after a prolonged period of inactivity.

Family health tracking with Galaxy Watches may soon be possible (APK breakdown)

With its Galaxy Watch line of smartwatches, Samsung has a long history, and when it comes to the whole experience, very few OEMs can match Samsung. We’re excitedly expecting the release of Samsung’s upcoming wristwatch, the Galaxy Watch 7, and there’s a chance the company may include a significant update that improves the tracker for your family.

Based on work-in-progress code, an APK breakdown assists in forecasting features that might be added to a service in the future. It’s possible, though, that these anticipated features won’t be released to the general public.

Samsung is reportedly working on family health data sharing with Galaxy Watches, according to code we found in the most recent version of the Samsung Health app. Here are a few screenshots showing the features that we were able to activate:

As you can see, you will soon be able to keep an eye on the data that your child’s or family member’s Galaxy Watch collects thanks to Samsung Health. The health information for your child’s Samsung account can be processed by your (parent) Samsung account through an approval process. Since the Galaxy Watch is used to populate the data, it goes without saying that your child will need to get their own watch and wear it frequently enough to maintain the accumulation of all the important statistics.

Nothing about this suggests that the Galaxy Watch 7 will be the only device that can use it. Though it makes financial sense for the firm to keep the feature limited to newer smartwatch models for a while before making it available to older ones, Samsung could also add it to its older smartwatches.
