Terrorists assaulted a bus carrying worshippers from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra on Sunday, resulting in nine fatalities and forty-one injuries as the T20 World Cup 2024 proceeds in Jammu and Kashmir.

Hasan Ali, the international fast bowler for Pakistan, shared an Instagram story in solidarity of the victims of the incident, and it went viral.

A terrorist involved in the attack on a passenger bus in the Reasi district was shown in a sketch by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday, along with a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information leading to his whereabouts.

“A police spokesman announced that Reasi police are offering a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any useful information regarding the whereabouts of the terrorist responsible for the recent attack on the Yatri bus in the Pouni area.”

He claimed that the terrorist’s sketch was created using the descriptions provided by witnesses and urged others to come forward with information.

A multidirectional cordon had been up around the Ranso-Poni-Treyath belt, and eleven teams of security forces were on the ground, waging a fierce hunt for the terrorists responsible for the attack, according to officials.
