Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, both expressed outrage and denounced the act of violence against US presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Former President Donald Trump was hurt after a gunfire at his Butler, Pennsylvania, event on Saturday night. Two attendees were gravely injured, and the gunman and at least one other audience member were confirmed deceased by the Secret Service. Following a bullet wound to the upper portion of his right ear, Trump was hastily removed from the platform.

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, responded to several tweets on Twitter. He defended Trump in his tweets and chastised the Secret Service for allowing the incident to occur:
“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his speedy recovery,” he declared. “The last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt,” he said in a another tweet equating Trump to the late US President.

Speaking with Trump following the attack, President Joe Biden denounced the violence and conveyed his joy that Trump was safe. “I’m glad to hear that he’s safe and doing well,” he tweeted. While we wait for more details, I’m praying for him, his family, and everyone who attended the protest.

On his own social media account, Truth Social, Donald Trump posted a thank you message to the Secret Service and Law Enforcement. Additionally, he sent his sympathies to the family of the rally victim who lost their life. “It is unbelievable that such an act can take place in our country,” he continued. Regarding the gunman, who is now deceased, nothing is known at this moment. One of the bullets that was discharged into me went through the top portion of my right ear. As soon as I heard bullets, felt the bullet ripping through my skin, and heard a whizzing sound, I knew something was wrong. I became aware of what was going on when there was a lot of blood. Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted, “I’m wishing President Trump a speedy recovery,” expressing his shock and condemnation of the violence. The shooting and deaths that occurred today astound me. Political violence is unacceptable, and we must unite to vehemently condemn it.”

Elon Musk was also fast to criticize Donald Trump’s security detail, stating, “Either there was extreme incompetence or it was intentional.” The SS leadership ought to step down in either case.” He went on to urge that the head of the secret agency be held accountable. detail saying, “The head of the Secret Service and the leader of this security detail should resign.”
