In an effort to improve its energy mix ,India is developing ecologically benign energy sources , according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s statement on Tuesday. He was speaking to an Indian and international audience at the opening speech of the second India Energy Week (IEW). The IEW 2024 ,which brings together the whole energy value chain and is scheduled to take place in Goa from February 6 to 9 , is the country ‘s largest and only comprehensive energy exposition and conference. It is anticipated to act as a catalyst for India’s energy revolution. Mr . Modi stated that the energy sector will be vital to India ‘ s development narrative, given that the country is expected to rank third in the international economy.
He predicted that by 2045 , India’s energy consumption will have doubled, and in response, the nation has begun to create sustainable and reasonably priced energy.

Despite being home to 17% of the world ‘s population , India’s Carbon Emission Share is only 4%, but we are committed to further improving our energy mix by focusing on the development of environmentally sensitive energy sources,” he stated when asked about India’s commitment about facilitating the shift. He emphasized the significance of the National Green Hydrogen Mission and stated that it will make India a hub for the production and export of hydrogen. “Investors and industries can profit handsomely from India’s green energy sector,” he stated.
