Namma Metro service disruptions as a result of a power outage

Intro Paragraph

BENGALURU: Due to a power outage, train services between Baiyyappanahalli and MG Road stations were halted on Saturday morning , causing difficulties for Namma Metro commuters.
A technical issue was discovered at the Indiranagar Metro station at approximately 9.30 am, leaving hundreds of people stuck at the stations. Train services between M G Road and Baiyappanahalli on the purple line would be halted for one hour, according to authorities of the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).

Train services were interrupted as a consequence of a failure in the power supply to the third rail system, according to Executive Director (Operations and Maintenance) Shankar A S, who spoke with ToI. “Our staff are on job to restore power supply and resume services,” he stated.
Passengers fighting with metro employees at the Indiranagar metro station about improper communication on the restoration of services and demands for fee reimbursement were observed.
