Karma. Why, upon Nitish Kumar’s departure, did Asaduddin Owaisi attack Tejashwi Yadav?​

Owaisi was alluding to the four state MLAs who joined the RJD in June 2022 after formerly belonging to the AIMIM. After four of the AIMIM’s five MLAs defected to the RJD in the wake of the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Owaisi’s party now only has one MLA.
The RJD became the only party with four MLAs in the Bihar legislature, while Tejashwi Yadav’s party became the most popular political group among the state’s Muslim electorate.
Owaisi declared, “AIMIM always said that political secularism is used to betray the Muslims in India,” adding that the Muslims of Bihar “have been betrayed again.”

Additionally, he made fun of Tejashwi Yadav and his family for “sidelining” the Bihari people. According to him, their main goal is to ensure that one of them becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar. “The Bihari people have been deceived.” Bihar has not seen any progress. The state is becoming more bureaucratic,” he declared. He also took aim at Nitish Kumar, the leader of JD(U), saying that he would just serve as Bihar’s nominal chief minister and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS will determine how the state is run. Owaisi stated that he had often warned people about the potential for Nitish Kumar to change sides.

A few hours after resigning on Sunday as chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar took another oath to lead the state’s NDA administration. After March 2000 and again till 2020, this was Nitish Kumar’s seventh oath of office as Bihar Chief Minister.
